Much like myths, some rituals are considered more important and more sacred than others.
The 'Dreamtime' or 'Dreaming' are not the same thing, but are outward and greatly spiritual rituals in the Aboriginal culture.
Each person had a different dreaming to make them individual and have an identity.
One way of how Aboriginal people express their rituals is they do long walks around the country.
To respect the countries spirits, many clans perform 'welcome rituals', and this varies from nation to nation.
Eg. 'In some NSW nations Aboriginal people put ochre on the forehead, top of the palms and chest. This signalled that they were open to receive information'.
